Postnatal Pilates

These classes aim to help you regain your abdominal and pelvic floor strength, helping you get ready to return to exercise and cope with the physical demands of looking after a baby.

You don't need to be a new mum to join the class. You are welcome to join wherever you are on your postpartum journey.

New mums should be 6-8 weeks postpartum, or 8-10 weeks postpartum if you had a c-section before joining the class.

We focus on strengthening the core muscles, which can be weakened during pregnancy and childbirth. Additionally, Pilates can help improve posture, reduce back pain, and promote relaxation and stress relief.

Babies are welcome to the class, but it's best they join before they are on the move. If you prefer a bit of 'me time' then you can join me for Mums only Pilates instead.

Young Moms Staying Fit

"I have been attending JG Pilates classes since pre pandemic with Jenna and she has gotten me through lockdown, a pregnancy and now postnatal recovery. Pilates has kept me going, kept me strong, relaxed and generally improved my wellbeing. I really enjoy the classes and there is always plenty variety in the exercises to keep me on my toes. Thanks Jenna!"
